How does the equity partnership model work?

Typically 1–10% equity in exchange for a CTO and an engineering team. The exact number depends on stage, scope, and how much we're carrying. Written into a partnership agreement before we start.

Do you also accept cash payment?

Yes, on retainer or fixed scope. We default to equity for pre-seed and seed, cash for post-Series A or for one-off builds.

Four areas: applied AI/ML (inference, RAG, agents), distributed systems (payments, real-time data), Web3 rails (smart contracts, Bitcoin/Lightning, custody), and product engineering (full-stack web, native mobile, design systems).

We assess code quality, architecture, scalability, security, technical debt, and team capability. You get a written report with prioritised recommendations.

Where is your team located?

Remote, with team across North America and Europe. Offices in Toronto, Vancouver, London, and Lisbon for in-person when it matters.

What's your approach to IP and confidentiality?

All code and intellectual property belongs to you. We sign NDAs and every team member is bound by the same confidentiality terms.
